This document (hereinafter "Policy") describes the personal data that DIGIBL Studio - Digital Basil Leaves s.r.l. (hereinafter "DIGIBL Studio", "we", "us", and "our") collect from you when using our services, how that information are processed by us, and what rights you have in relation to your information, as required by the EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR").

This Policy applies to information that we collect in relation to your use of our websites, which are available at the following domains (collectively, the "Sites"):

Any other online resource that can be accessed via an hypelink in the Sites, but it is not part of the above domains (or their subdomains), is not covered by this Policy.

Before you use or submit any information through or in connection with the Sites, please carefully review this Policy.

1. Our Role in the Processing

We are responsible for the processing of the personal data that are collected from you when using the Sites. 2. Information We Collect

We collect information in multiple ways, including when you provide information directly to us; and when we passively collect information from you, such as from your browser or device.

2a. Data Provided by You

We may collect information directly from you when you perform voluntarily any of the following optional actions: (a) contact us using any of the available communication methods, such as our e-mail addresses, contact forms in the Sites, or direct messages to our social media profiles, (b) contribute to one of our open source projects.

According to the method that you use to contact us, this information may include your full name, email address, geographic location, data included in the messages, your social media handles, or additional personal data that you include in the communication.

2b. Browsing Data

We may automatically collect certain information about the device you use to access the Sites. We may collect and analyze (a) device information such as device type (e.g. computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), IP address, location information (by country and city), browser type, browser language, operating system, and (b) information related to the ways in which you interact with the Sites, such as URL addresses of referring sites and landing pages and exit pages, platform type, URL addresses of pages and content of Sites that you viewed and in which order, the date and time you used the Sites, error messages, and other technical data related to the web protocol (e.g. status code of the server response, file size of requested resources, etc.).

2c. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

The Sites do not use cookies or other tracking technologies to profile you and your behavior. The only processing on your navigation data is performed on webserver log files to generate aggregate statistics about the Sites usage, as described in details at section (2b) for purposes of section (3).

Some part of the Sites may use non-persistant session cookies to provide you a secure and efficient connection. These cookies are classified as essential and are strictly necessary to deliver the Sites to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect about you as described above to:

  • Process and respond to your inquiries or feedback;
  • Fulfill the purposes for which you provided it;
  • Provide and improve the Sites, including to develop new features, take steps to secure them, and for technical support;
  • Conduct analytics, research, and reporting, including to synthesize and derive insights from your use of our Sites;
  • Comply with the law and protect the safety, rights, property, or security of DIGIBL Studio, the Sites, our users, and the general public.

Our legal grounds for processing information that can be directly linked to or used to identify you are as follows:

  • Legitimate Interests. In the case described in section (2b), we handle information on the ground that it furthers our legitimate interests in ways that are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the affected individuals, these include:
    • Analyzing and improving our business;
    • Protecting our users, personnel, and property.
  • Consent. Where required by law, and in all the other remaining cases where legally permissible, such as in the case that is described in section (2a), we handle information on the basis of your consent. Specific information notices are displayed on the Sites to allow you to express or withdraw your consent to the processing of your information, in accordance with applicable law.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain the information we collect for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set forth in this Policy, or as long as we are legally required or permitted to do so.

6. Who Can Process Your Information

We use trusted external service providers (hereinafter "Recipients") to deliver some specific features of the Sites. Your information may be shared with them and processed on our behalf only for the purposes of the service agreement that is in place with them, pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR:

The Recipients may use additional third-party companies (hereinafter "Sub-Processors") to provide a part of their services. Either the Recipients or their Sub-Processors may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If your information are transfered outside the EEA, we and the Recipients ensure that data are protected adequately and in accordance with the GDPR, basing such data transfer on an adequancy decision or the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

7. Your Rights

You have the legal right to obtain confirmation of whether we hold certain information about you, to access such information, and to obtain its correction or deletion in appropriate circumstances. You also have the right to object to our handling of your information, restrict our processing of your information, and to withdraw any consent you have provided in the past. To exercise these rights, please email us at with the nature of your request.

If you believe that our processing of your information infringes the applicable law, you have the right to file a complain directly with the relevant supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority) pursuant to art. 77 of the GDPR, or else to bring a judicial proceeding against DIGIBL Studio pursuant to art. 79 of the GDPR.

8. Third-Party Links

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. social media sites, hosting platforms for source code). If you choose to use their features, you may disclose your information not just to those third-parties, but also to their users and the public more generally depending on how their services function. DIGIBL Studio is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such third party websites or services. The collection, use and disclosure of your information will be subject to the privacy policies of the third party websites or services, and not this Policy. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each and every site you visit.

9. Changes to this Policy

We will continue to evaluate our privacy practices as we expand our Sites or if a change happens in the applicable law, and we may make changes to this Policy accordingly. We will post any changes here and revise the date last updated above. We encourage you to check this page periodically for updates to stay informed on how we collect, use and share your information. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will provide you with notice.
